Tetraphase is looking for Analytical Chemists to develop phase-appropriate analytical methods for small molecules in pre-clinical research and in human clinical trials as well as provide support for Process Chemistry and Formulation. Collaboration with CROs will be a part of the job duties.

Qualifications:

• Qualified candidates should possess:
  • a M.S. or a Ph.D. with three years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Broad experience in analytical and drug development demonstrated by independent development of analytical procedures
  • Extensive experience in analytical HPLC
  • Knowledge and understanding of GMP requirements/regulations
  • Experience with the generation and review of analytical methods, validation protocols and validation reports is essential
  • Technical transfer experience and ability to lead/manage CROs
  • Strong communication, organizational and teamwork skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft® Office software and the Agilent chromatographic platform is a plus
